Microsoft Missed The Open Goal To Rebrand Windows With Metro

In the run up to the October launch of Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Phone 8, a number of commentators who had experienced the beta versions of some of the software elements wondered if branding these operating systems  as 'Windows'  was a mistake.
